bikini top questions
« on: April 10, 2004, 06:07:58 PM »
i'm looking for the front peice of a two peice hard top....i know it's a long shot.

but my question here is about the soft (Besttop) bikini tops.  i had on for my samurai and it was great, the fit was awesome and could have it on in the freezing cold and the heat stayed in pretty good.

however i have heard that the track/kick bikini's are NOT as good and are flappy and loud, and the fit is shoddy.
is this true?

it's just i like to have the top down alot in the nicer months but sometimes the sun can be a bit much and thats where a bikini comes in handy.  but i don't want one if it's noisey and hard to install.
i guess bikini's for my type of track/kick are the worst fitting ones (1995-1998).

please zuki guru's help enlighten me on bikini top quality.

I love mine but it sure does get dusty inside ;D
Never noticed a wind problem just the sun at the back of my neck. Gotta grow the hair out again so I don't get a RedNeck ;D

I loaned mine to a friend and He just can't seem to give it up (the guy behind me) so for now I just run with my rear window and side ones out.  The run about 50bucks< I thought about the SunPort tops (2 peice soft top) but they don't fit 95 and newer . So get one, they're GREAT but a pain to switch back and forth so it comes in handie if you got a garage.

And they're Sexy Looking Too.

Heather gave me the Bikini Top she won at the Zukiworld Dinner.

I'm not sure if I've told my wife yet that another woman gave me her bikini top or not...

Hmmm...

My preference is Bestop's Safari top. (Picture a stock top with no side or rear window.)

It keeps off the sun/rain but lets the breeze blow through. (Well, you do have to be going about 60 to keep out most of the rain.)

Speakin' of tops, any idea where to get them in colors other than stock? I had a gray top until it got slashed (4 months)... and can't find them in colors any longer.
