Well I got back late last night but I was just too tired to post. My time is limmited tonight but I will be on early tomorrow.

Bad news from my camp.  :'( For some reason all my photos on my digital are fuzzy. I took some more after I got home and they are good.  ??? Ive got about 30 bad ass pics that are worthless.  :'(

Here is a quick rundown of my week.

Chunk and I got in town late friday night and got a hotel.

Saturday we slept in late and then went to the rim trail to warm up and see if we had any bugs to work out. All was well and we sat at the top till sunset admireing the view.

Sunday we hooked up with a couple of other RPMers and ran Hells Revenge. It has lots of steep uphill slickrock and deep hottubs. Chunk drove right out of mickeys hottub in his black Tracker. None of the rest of us had a chance. Not enough wheelbase vs height . Chunks is a lowrider!
;D It was perfect for hells revenge.Chunk rocked everywhere in here. We found another smaller hottub and played in it for a while. Kenny was flying through it and jumping out the other side. Catching about 2 to 3 feet of air out the other side. I wasnt going to but they kept on pressuring me to so I went and did it. Kenny said If I caught more air he would go in and do one bigger. ::) We were videotaping so I made it count. Not to be outdone I gave it just a little bit too much and came out of the tub so high that I almost flipped over backwards!  :o They said the front tires were higher than chunks head!  8) I ran over afterwards to watch it on tape only to find that the tape ended just as I got to the bottom of the hottub.  :'( I realize now that pics from me this week are just not gonna happen. :-/

Monday Chunk, Eric, and I ran the rim trail on monday with the Superior Axle guys. Thats the pics some of you have seen on Pirate. It was a fun run but slow because their were so many people on it. The jeep safari fed us a great lunch halfway through the trail.

Tuesday Was the first Zukiworld run I ran with. Rick Hawk from Hawk Suzuki was supposed to be our trail guide but he conned me into leading. ::)  ;D This was the first day that I met up with Wild, Bobzuki, Heather, and Nate.

Sorry guys (and Gals!) I got to go... I rattle on more tomorrow

Well Im back to rattle on... ;D

Tuesday was also a slow run cause we were just getting to meet everyone for the first time. We stopped several times to BS with everyone several times during the trail. After we got back We talked Eric into running with Chunk and I in Hells Revenge again. Or was that monday... I dont remember for sure, Its all a blur. Anyway, Eric hadnt been there before so we gave him the tour. It was a fun ride into the sunset.  8) Next to tip over challenge their is a couple steep uphill climbs that had mud at the bottom. I tried to climb up but my rig wouldnt do it. Chunk got on there and was just smoking the tires trying to climb it. Problem was mud would stay on our tires and grease the rock face. Then he grabbed second gear and really started smoking the tires. At this point he was commited cause comming down from that height would be ugly. He continued to stand on it for quite sometime when all the throttle paid off and he made it. It was pretty cool.  8)

Wensday in a minute....

Wednsday we ran the Calmini run on Golden spike. It started out as a beautiful day and everyone did very well. Again we were making such good time on this trail that we stopped several times to chat. Right as we were comming up on the golden crack the black cloud comming up behind us all day cought up.  ::) The sky opened up and seriosly downpoured on us! We sat and waited out the storm... at least until it lightened up before continueing on. Our whole group crossed the crack with ease and continued on.  A couple of our guys got stuck behind the Nissans just after the crack. We were over the hill waiting and waiting until I walked over to see whats up only to find that one of the Nissans was on its lid! :o Wild, Bobzuki, and Jake got see the show. It took a while to get around that mess. Then we continued on and out of the trail.

Thursday in a minute... ;)

Thurday was a fast day. Certainly the fastest Ive ever done Prichet canyon. I think we were early enough that we beat the rush. We also had a great group of built rigs that really made the run fast. Wild rode with me on this day. We were doing pretty good untill I couldnt get up rocker knocker.  :( Its a hard obstical so I wasnt totally devastated but it seemed odd case I had done it with ease years prior. :-/ Then I came to the next sideways stair step... and I couldnt get up it either. ??? Now I knew something was up. Last year I drove up and down this thing several times like it was a highway. Someone behind me said my tires looked hard. So I brought out the air gauge only to find that my left side tires were at 12 psi! I normally run 6. After I aired them down I drove right up. Now In wondering if I forgot to finish airing down on the first day and ran it that way all week or if someone pumped up the tires on one side (unlikely). Of coarse I find this out on the last day tward the end of the trail. :-/ Oh well I did pretty well either way and I had fun. When we got out the top of prichet we ran rally style out of there and had a blast.

After this we headed back to our condo and started drinking... heavily. We decided to call zig around 1am Moab time. Lucky for Zig I didnt have his current home #. All I had was his Cell and It was off. We procedded to pass the phone around and leave him a message. Wisely, I turned my phone off so I could sleep in.  Bob showed up with a bunch of homemade wine. I stuck to the Coors. The next morning I was wondering if I made the wrong choice. I was so hungover uuuuugh. We were supposed to leave around noon but didnt get out of bed untill 3 or 4ish. Even then I wished I could stay in bed. But I had to hit the road.

OH yes that was an adventure too. Once we got into Interstate 70 east tward colorado we could see a storm brewing. The winds were almost unbearable in my (kite!) I thought I was going to litterally going to get blown over. Then came the Heavy rain, which was a very welcome trade for the wind. As we went up in altitude the rain turned to heavy snow. White out conditions. At times we couldnt go faster that 25mph cause we couldnt see where we were going. Semis were jack-knifed all over blocking the interstate and cars were in the ditch.      :o This went on for about 7 hours. Once we got out of colorado and into nebraska the snow disapated and the winds slowly came back worse and worse the farther across the state we went. By the time we hit Iowa I thought a tornado was near. It was quite an eventfull drive home.
