I have a 2002 chevy tracker with a 2 inch lift.  I've been thinking about replacing the 235/75/R15 Goodyear at with a set of 215/85R15  super swamper radial tsl anyone ever try them?

That would be a 30+" tire wouldn't it?   I'm thinking they would be very nice pizza cutters and would look good on stock rims.  Do you have an auto or manual transmission?  Since you would loose a considerable amount of mechanical advantage with the taller tires (2"?) you would probably want to consider going with taller diff gears or... at the very, least some transfer case gears for low range driving off road.  You would have some frame rub on the front on tight turns (you probably already experience this with 235 series tires so no big deal) .... but I'm thinking the rear tires would tuck under and into the fender wells nicely (on stock rims) and not have much (if any) rub during compression.

They'll also probably be a good bit heavier than the 235's.  Take more oomph to turn.

That said Swampers are great.  For a heavy duty serious mud and offroad tire that can actually be okay on the road it's tough to beat a Swamper TSL Radial.  I've seen their larger TSL Radials actually last quite a while under heavier trucks that were taken care of.
