700 miles in a Sidekick
« on: August 03, 2012, 09:30:20 AM »

We took "The Teal Terror" on a road trip last week. We drove from Portland, OR up to the Overland Rallies and Workshops in Leavenworth, WA, where we camped, I gave an intro to winching class, etc. We ran a few forest service roads, visited the abandoned Trinity Mine (which was awesome), and did some exploring. We then headed over to Yakima, and back to Portland. You can read my trip report on my personal blog site:

Cool trip, looks like it was a good one.  Nice to camp in an amazing setting.

Looks beautiful there!  So lush and green.  A big contrast to the desert of Moab I just visited.

Thanks for sharing Andy!

Or to the brown and charred Oklahoma landscape.
35 years of Samurai ownership, and I still have my very first one. :)

Thanks Andy.  I must have over looked it in the first post.  I thought there was another write up.
