I got two samurai's for 500 bucks plus a replacement clutch which has already been installed. I have a convertible and a hard top hard top needs more work than can afford right now. convertible got running and street legal (in VA). it ran good for a good bit of last summer and earllier this year. I ran it and it started running funny and i thought it was a fuel delivery problem and checked the lines checked the tank everything working good i thought it was too little fuel. Now i am wiser and after fouling two sets of plugs after minutes of driving i realize its too much fuel!!!
everything stock so far no adjustments done yet wondering has any one adjusted the stock carb for less fuel or have any input on carb swaps. I am in college and looking for cheap fixes as long as i can get it running mostly just an offroad toy made street legal just to drive to the gas station. wondering if anyone has ideas on carbs or adjustments. going home in a few days to do work on it haven't really taken hard looks at it yet. please any info helpful.
should i just start looking for a toyota carb and start doing that mod or should i try and try and try and try and fail on the stock carb first?  thanks
