My 87 Sammy and I went puddle jumpin and the motor got pretty wet. After the last puddle I realize my engine was red lining on it's own. so I quickly turned it off by key ..... After re starting her when I rinsed the engine off , It persisted to red line on its own. Anyone ever have this issue before and know how to fix it. I did take the air cleaner off and realized that there is no flutter plate in the cab anymore or was there ever one? Thanx for the help
