It seems there should be a dust boot or something protecting the axle connection. This is the driver's side
Does this look right?

Try and give the cv axle a tap and see if it slide's in any more.if not then it should be fine.there is a seal on the front end to keep oil in and dirt out.

it's in so I guess it just looks odd to me. I did feel ans see the seal so off road I go
After my head and everything that I took off goes back on
