Why would you take them out? Although I had mine and the control box from the top of the winch stolen so locking them up would be good. Although in my case they were gonna steal it anyway cause the had to unbolt the control box

im going to use a rope and your right not having the controll is like not having a winch. but like i said its my dd and i got a free car wash and i took it out because i didnt want it taken (sketchy car wash lol) and just forgot to put it back in
