Yep, the Warn hubs won't stay tight using regular bolts, you have to clean the threads inside the hubs with a chaser tap, then apply some lock-tite (blue works) to some studs, screw them in the hub to about 20#s, then mount the Warns with some ny-locks to keep them seated. Once you do this, they stay put. Regular bolts just seem to continually loosen and eat into the hub mounting flange.
As far as being "trouble free"... that's why I bought Warn versus another brand hub. I have had a set of Warn premiums on my truck for over a year now and I noticed a little over a month ago the driver's side hub was unusually tight to turn. I removed the hub cap (6-hex bolts) and looked inside and saw that I had some excessive moisture issues because there was rust forming on everything inside there. I had coated all the parts with a light coat of oil thinking moisture might build up from the constant heating and cooling. Didn't matter... I had rust. So I had to clean the hub again. We'll see what happens. I suspect the O-ring in the dial is crapped up and will need replaced IF it is even a replaceable part.
