Tabitha is a 2000 Chevy Tracker 2.0L 4X4. I just finished a complete rebuilt of the motor. She started and ran awesome. There is a P0135 code, but that's not the problem. After a run to warm up and check everything, I turned it off to check fluids. After about a 10 minute down time it would not fire. No spark. After a bit longer, maybe 10-20 minutes, she starts just fine. I know there is a ground side battery terminal problem. I plan to replace it today.

Has anyone experienced anything like this?

The cam position sensor on the 2.0 is known to cause heat related running issues (not necessarily starting issues), they will cause a stall out and no restart until they cool down.  One way to verify is to put a wet rag on the sensor when the problem shows up, that will usually pull the temp down enough to allow an immediate restart.

Probably not - different cam sensor altogether.

The J20 in the SX4 is a later version with many differences - take off the plastic cover and locate the cam position sensor, on the SX4 I think it goes vertically down through the cam cover near the end of the intake cam (rear cam, toward the bellhousing end of the motor), on the Tracker it's actually on the back of the head driven off the end of the exhaust cam (left cam, over the bellhousing).

Follow up. CM sensor fixed it. Thanks. Also had an Evap CEL code 0455. Bad gas cap. New cap fixed it. All codes cleared.
