Kick Half doors
« on: April 01, 2004, 01:12:57 AM »
I just read the doorless kick post.  That thing doorless looks nice.  My concern is that I've got a little girl whos 4.  I need some door to retain al the Toys and Juice cups that are floating around the floor.

Any half door pics or write ups?

I've seen a guy that had cut out a notch out of the doors.  It made them 1/2 doors.

Looked something like this:

The door was cut to the contour of the seat.  Also the door would still open.  Instead of a handle he had a rod sticking up where an old chevy style door lock would be.  You could push down on it and the door would open like normal.  Or you could crawl through like a Jeep.

Hey!  I have your mirrors!

;D The other door is Blue

I had to replace the door, my then 4 year old son
knocked the shifter into reverse (auto trans) and
the trucklet went reverse with the drivers door open
in a big circle and pinned the open door against the
back of my parked Semi Tractor right on the frame,
bent the door so bad I had to wire it shut and it still
was out 6 inches from the body, any one have a
Sky Blue door on  a Track/Kick that's red ???
Trade Ya  ;D
