I think I remember reading something about the recomended weight is like 1500lbs...

Just tow it around, and if it breaks, it just needed to be built stronger ;D

my lug nuts require more torque then my engine makes ;)

I have a 94 door 8v tracker
I have gone wheeling with a buddy, he has a mid 70's GMC Jimmy.
Twice I've had to pull his rig, once he was stuck and once I had to right him (precarious situation) both times I had the transfer case in 4 low. a rig like that is around 4500 lbs  I just don't think you got enough power to pull something that heavy uphill very far or very fast.

The Moral of the story? short and slow with the right gears ok..... but I wouldn't expect much more than that,
YMMV

im sure it would be fine, just avoid any hills though
once you get it up and rolling it shouldnt be much of a problem, but it'll obviously drive like a tank, and i doubt you're gonna want to do this too often

OH defintly just once and awhile to the mounds(It's an orv park in michagn) and thats only like an hour from my house and thats just flat tow on the road. It might not be a good idea but tracker parts are cheap and it cant hurt to try.

hey sorry if this is OT..but i was wanting to buy an ATV one of those speedy ones the name is evading me right now

so i know the tracker COULD tow it on a trailer..just how well is what i want to know..i mean i know that the tracker has a bit of trouble already so how much worse would the tracker go up hill and such towing an ATV 1 set of 31" tires/rims tent and such on a small trailer??

say from sac california to moab

Last week I went and picked up a new lawn tractor for the place that I work. It's a Craftsman 24HP 48" Cut and it barely fit on Dad's 5'x10' Utility Trailer. The Tracker did just fine pulling it. I'd say an ATV would be no problem.

You don't have the power, weight, brakes,
or frame/hitch capacity to tow a 4500 Lb K5

I can tell your going to do this anyway, so,
you need brakes on the towed vehicle to work
or it's going to jacknife you if you stop any sort
of fast. You need a heavy tow hitch, none are
made for the Kick for that weight. You need low
rear end gears or use 4-low with the front hubs
unlocked, top speed will be 45-50 MPH and about
8-10 MPG, if you flat tow the towed vehicle needs to
be street legal (licenced and insured, all lights and
fenders in palce or you will/could get cited.

Why not pull the zuke, beat the K5 and if you break
go home and get a bigger tow vehicle and a trailer to
get the K5 back home. ???

this is going to look like the tail wagging the dog
:D

Precisely. If you tow this on the road, I hope you get pulled over by ever DOT and Police officer and ticketed for towing more than your vehicles max. weight. It's dangerous to yourself and others.

Not trying to be a dick to you, but I see shit like this all the time, and yes, I do have the sheriffs phone number in my cell phone particularly for idiots on the road.

pulling a ATV, Yah the tracker will do it fine, because a sport atv weighs no more than about 400lbs, and then a trailer, which doesnt weigh too much, the max i thihnk is around 1000lbs.

TinTopper, i totally agree with you, you shouldnt tow a blazer behind your truck dude, it endangers (sp) you and others on the road it isnt really the brightest thing to do.
