hi!(fixed the pics)
« on: March 14, 2004, 11:39:48 AM »
if i have introduced myself before, i don't remember, registered ages ago, but never posted, any who
i have a suzuki 1993 vitara 5 door, 1.6ltr, 16valve, it was just passed down to me from my bro, it has been in my familly for 10 years now, and since we had it all we had to change was the silencer, and that was last year, otherwise no troubles with it.
i am not a real off roader, so expect no off roading mods from me, heheh,
here is the list of accessories i have added to her for now

chrome fender and trim kit
goodyear wrangler tires
chrome spare wheel cover
roof rack
tint(only 10% light trough!)

on my todo list is:
new rims,
leather seats
alum interior trim
sound system

i have some questions now, i am gonna get a alum surround for my gauges, and also i want to make my gauges white, where can i get white dail kit for it?
this is the lay out of my gauges

Also where can i find proper factory leather seat covers?

here are the pics of her
hard to see from the pics but she is a dark matalic jade colour, very nice, but she is due for a complete respray now in summer

I've considered getting that aluminium inlay on my cluster too, but it's just too "street" looking.

I believe those Fire & Ice guys can make the white dial kit for you.

Factory leather seat covers, eh?  How about a Suzuki dealer?

I want to see your ride, so upload those pic onto cardomain.com or something.

Anyhow, nice to hear from ya.

Why would a bullbar or front pushbar not be legal  ??? (other than if it was some custom made homebrew dorky jobber?)

Thanks for the welcomes, as for the pics, is there a way of resising them on the board with a code?
i think the EU is in the process of making them illegal, which is why landrover, and even the suzuki bullbars are made outta rubber!
metal bullbars are see unessary to unroad jeeps (like mine) and are a danger to pedestrians,

i am not 100% sure if they are legal or not, but i don't want to buy one and a year later have to remove it

here in malta we call 4X4s jeeps, cos we don't even acknoladge that the brand jeep exists! :p
it is how i was brought up,  i can never get used to saying 4X4, i just call them jeeps, jeep to me is a classification of  car, like sports car, i call nissans, suzukis, landrovers, the lot jeeps!
