Hi.   Tom here from Cedar City, UT with a new to me 87 Samurai.

From the paperwork and receipts it's been modified with a 5" OTT Stage 1 front end and 4.16 T-case Crawler kit (both from Rocky Mountain ATV here in UT) and one of the Eaton full time lockers in the back.  New 33" rubber and a towbar for behind the RV and truck.

So far we've had it on trails and forest roads here in the Dixie Natl Forest (which tend to be rocky) and down in the Grand Staircase in some deep sand hills.  So far it's handled it all really well.    What it doesn't like is the drive to and from the off road.  It's happy cruising 45/50 which is adequate for the local roads.  But it loses steam really fast on hills so I really have to think before hitting the main mountain roads around here.

I'm already thinking about an engine upgrade.  But in the meantime we are going to give it a workout this winter and leave the RZR in the garage.
