Hey I have a couple  questions, first off I took off my fenders, and am getting the three inch lift and 32 inch tires really soon, and I was wondering, if I need to trim the fenders at all. If so how much, could you provide me with any templates to follow etc. Question two while I have the driverside fender off what do I need to water proof in order to make a snorkel. Any pictures would be greatly appriciated.

We need more details! Are you buying a snorkle or building one? Is this a trackick? Im guessing that it is, if so... Is this a 3 inch body or suspension? For 32s you will need both on a trackick. Depending on the width/offset of the rim you shouldnt need to trim.

BTW- There will be a Fender trimming artical in the April Edition of Zukiworld for the Trackick... Can you wait a couple more weeks?  ::)

If its a tracker this for for 32"s Right back to the floorboards. The wheel will move that far back.

Yes it is a tracker, and I already have the three inch body lift installed, with 2.75 inch backspaced wheels in the ups truck on the way to my house as we speak. By the way I ordered my wheels from spidertrax and was wondering if anyone else has them, and how they like them they are the black steel wheels, nothing fancy.

WHAT ARE YOU GUYS USING TO TRIM THE FENDERS  ??? ANYTHING YOU DO TO HELP PREVENT RUST AFTER, BESIDES PAINT  ??? I'M IN THE AREA WHERE THEY LOAD THE ROADS UP WITH SALT ANY TIME IT PERCIPITATES  :-/  BUT I REALLY GOT TO TRIM MY FRONT CAUSE THE 32'S ARE RUBBING AT ANYTHING PAST HALF TURN  >:(  MATTY D.  8)

When I cut my fenders I folded back the lip for a cleaner factory look. My first try was with a sawsall (not good) so I used an air cutting wheel (cheapo harborfrieght)After that I knocked off the chipped paint, sanded and painted. We don't salt here (Or) so I just used reg paint, you can always use a rust preventive paint like Hammerite or close to it.

I used a sawzall on one side and it looked like sh%t  than I got smarter.

actually yah, a cut off wheel, very good to use they are so handy, just get a angle grinder then put a cut off wheel, the cut perfect just gotta have a good hold on it. It will cut through that like butter

sawzal,  i also moved my floor boards back.  i made a snorkle out of the stock air rammer thingy, extra plastic, pipe, zip ties and silicone.

i used one of the cheapo harbor freight cutoff tools, and the cut looked decently clean without folding it back... i plan on using some fiberglass to smooth it out this spring, however.

I used a sawzall for the bottom but the rest is with tin snips.  nicer lines, especially with red and green ones.  The front I cleared just before the bottom fender bolt by the door and enough of the bumper to clear.  
I also hammered in the floor board  to clear the tires, make sure you dont hit the are where the clutch pedal goes.

the floors stick out wicked far so he did the same thing i did(just a little getto'er).  mine are so far back i could put 36's on if a cut the fenders the rest of the way with no rubbing.  and i'm only running a 3in body lift.
