Yay, spilled diesel in my tracker
« on: October 10, 2018, 03:53:13 PM »
;D smooth move.  Couldn’t stop in time to keep it from glugging a good bit of nasty old diesel in the back.  Now I can’t even be in the car.  Any tips?  I’ve dumped vinegar, baking soda, and rubbing alcohol all over it, vacuumed, parked in sun, and cursed.  So far the alcohol has made the biggest difference.

Yes in the back.  It’s getting better.  Repeated soaking with rubbing alcohol is helping the most.

Take the carpet out, use a power washer on it with hot water and lots of dishwashing soap to cut through the oilyness of the diesel fuel.
