Anything will fit with enough fab work. Asking yourself, "Why do I want to do this?" beforehand may be a good idea. You will loose just about everything that makes a Samurai good, useful, and fun. I've been around many owners that eventually modify their Samurai to the point that it sits along side their house until sold. I've done it too. My first Samurai was a daily driver and a wheeler that did trails all over the western U.S. but after I modified it to a certain point, it became un-fun and I moved on. Should you get a Samurai? Maybe... If you do consider very small changes and enjoying it for what it is vs. radical modifications as a first step.
Good luck on your decision.
