Richmond Hill, Ontario – March 5th, 2004: Suzuki Canada is off to the
best sales increase of all automotive manufacturers for 2004 posting a
25.7 % increase in the first two months.
“ The successful launch of our new Swift + and Verona, combined with continuing
consumer acceptance of the Suzuki Aerio, Grand Vitara and XL-7 have really got us
out of the gate quickly for 2004 “ said Suzuki spokesperson Joe Ricard, Senior
National Manager – Automotive Sales.
“ With the addition of Swift + and Verona we doubled our line up and now compete in
2 of the most popular vehicle segments in Canada, entry level and mid size cars
If the first 2 months are any indication of the acceptance of our line up and great
offers, we are well on our way to achieving our 2004 sales target of 16,500 units. This
would represent an overall increase of over 60 % compared to 2003. A great way to

its’ 25th anniversary in the automotive business in Canada in 2004. Suzuki marketed
the first import compact 4X4 vehicle, new to North America, known as Samurai back
