Question about Calmini Lift? BlackKnight, anyone?
« on: March 03, 2004, 02:04:12 PM »
OK, I engaged my front diff the other morning and to my dismay the drive shaft is rubbing the exhaust. My question is this: Should or can I disconnect the differentials crossmember bracket or bend it over a little to bring the diff more forward? It is angled right now because of the 3rd support and I am thinking that would allow it to move more forward to it's normal position. That make any sense? If I took that bracket off all together would that be bad? The differential is at about a 20 degree angle, which in turn causes the drive shaft to be forced up at the knuckle right before the exhaust cross over. Let me know what you guys think please.
