That model is the 413 and if you look close, driver is on right side (Euro) of vehicle, rather than left side (North America). There is/was a model which was a flatbed style. It came from the factory that way.  The earlier models look even better. Now I think there was the LJ style in Canada. If you also look close, the bed sides should fold down for better loading/access.

:o :o :o :o ;D Now thats a rig they should have built and sold in the U.S. years ago. Now if they bulit one NOW and used the GV platform(4door) and put a short box on it, it would sell great also.

I like the idea of a 2door pick up but if that is cool how about a 4door!!!  Would love to do this to my zuki. Or how about a trailor made out of the back of a 2door?? Or if you feel realy adventurous you could tacke the back of a 2door and fab. it to a 4door?? So you would have a soft or hard top 4door!!! the ideas are endless!!

2doors are nice but 4doors are COOL!!!

inspired by this thread, i chopped (photoshopped, that is) my hardtop 2dr into a truck-type thing.

Alsaska, i believe that picture is also a chop, unless you know otherwise...

....snip....

There was this wrecked XL7 on ebay several months ago. Doors were good and this picture is what I had in mind. I prefer the 'longer rear doors' of the X rather than the 'hip-short' doors of the shorter wb's.

Currently, I'm still looking for a stock running to-be-used-as-a-trail-use Trackick/Vitara. My wife prefers to keep the 02 X in a 'responsible' condition till it's paid for.
2doors are nice but 4doors are COOL!!!

As for your 4-dr conv't, I don't see whay not. Just get the proper conv't sheetmetal to make it stock-like. I have those plans laid out for 1-2 yrs. when the X is more mine than banks.
