ok on suzisport.com they have a kit for adding a holly carb to a 1.6
now i have the 1.6 with tbi will that kit work on my engine
also does any one know a good cam to go with i do alot of highway driving in my tracker and i would love any extra power
also when bypassing the egr are there any electronics i will need to disconnect or trick
i just want some advise here so far my tracker is fairly stock all i have done to it is:
K&N cone
8.8mm bosch wires
dist cap and rotor with the copper contacts
NGK platinum plugs
2.25" exhauts no cat mandrel bent with glass pack
(i bought stuff to make a catch can too)
any other ideas would be awesome iam on a limited budget as iam saving for a trip to virginia and for school next fall
(also down time isnt too big of a concern as i could always drive my colt for a couple weeks)

EGR is 1 plug coming from the valve to
the firewall, mine is a white braided cover
that connects close to the MAP sensor, as
far as I know, just un plug it, I don't know
if the computer will know or not, my Check
Engine light has been on for months

Why would you want to go with a carb if you already have some kind of fuel injection?
I can understand in a drag car, and boat. But in a truck that you take off road? I've had my truck in about every angle you can think of (without fliping over) and it hasn't quit on me yet. There's nothing like sitting on your nose, tethered off to the guy behind you and trying to get all 4's to the bottom of a crik.
Then I go out with carbed guys (older jeeps) and their great going hard straight and up hills. But angle them sideways or trying to go down a steep incline and they spit sputter and die.
Watching the Tough Truck videos, I sit here and laugh. Here these guys are with their bad a$$ trucks and can't make it up the tank trail because their carbed.
We had a guy turn over that way. He was going down a washout on a steep hill that had a slight bend to it. As soon as the nose went down the engine fluded out and stalled. He lost power steering and brakes. He just rolled straight untill the trail turned and up one side of the washout and over he went.
Luckily no one was hert.
