The only 3 cly engines here are in the GEO Metro
and maybe some Swifts, nobody makes headers for a
traditionaly mounted 3 cyl engine here, both these
others are front wheel drive.

Sounds like a custom header is in order.

We only get the 1.3 4 pot in the UK. Is that the 1.0L Swift/Geo engine?

Yup, Okinawa is part of Japan.  I did a quick search on the  internet, but I didn't see any company that made headers.  Maybe because they're turbo charged..I'll take a better look thought the catalogs next time I stop by the shop.

I'm not sure what a 410 or a 413 is, but over here their called JA11.   The engine is a whopping 660cc turbo charger.  We had to change the cracked manifold in the pictures above.  Not much HPs, but fun to drive.

I'm in Okinawa also. Just starting to get into wheelin' and chit ;D Over here there are 2 strokes, 3cyl with and w/o turbo, and the 4cyl. Sierra versions. I just haven't had any luck finding aftermarket headers. :'(  The Calmini exhaust wouldn't fit on the 3cyl. header either would it? (like I said I'm a rookie)

I used to have one of those too.  Really fun,  you could floor it with out breaking any parts.  But it really sucks on the highway.  Anyways, I found this for now  http://www.carmag.co.jp/apio/02PARTS/021JIMNY/021TE0001/022TE0084.html  ,its just a muffler but its stainless and suppose to increase it by 2hp :-/.

OK I thought maybe someone had fitted one in an SJ. I heard tale that they fit in place of the old 1 litre 4 Cylinder and wondered if you could confirm that. I guess I can always wander down to the breakers with a 410 gearbox after all they're not very heavy.

K, lets pretend I'm REALLY new to all this and have no clue what you are talking about.  ;D ;)
Anyone think it would be possible to use aftermarket Swift parts? Somer, do they make Swifts over here?

If you have a the 2stroke Jimnys, you shouldn't have to worry about a turbo.  I thought I remember seeing headers for 2 stroke Jimnys in a catalog somewhere, but I can't be sure.  I'll have to check next time I have a chance.

Yeah, we do have Swifts over here, but the older ones may be pretty hard to find.  The parts probably wouldn't fit anyways.  It kind of surprised me that people actually want to tune those cars(Swifts)  ???
