I'd like to get away from the open diff concept and get some better traction.  yet I don't want a locker as I don't hammer this thing offroad........yet!  At least until its paid for.
The Zuke is on its way out.  Getting a vehicle that will behave and be supported by the dealer.

I would love to get one myself, but OUCH the price is really painful on the old wallet.

why dont you ask Calmini ?
I m sure they will help you on this.Personally ,I believe it will work on your vitara. If they cant quarrantee that it will work on your vitara, check your differential with a 98 model sidekick one .If they are the same, you ll be sure that it will be o.k.

The reason I am asking is cause this week, had a project leader from WHQ in and I hauled him over to quaker steak and lube for suds and wings.  I pulled into a lot and there was enough room for me to fit but I would have had to get up on some rather high snowpack to do it.
Well, I drive a zuke so I said f*ck it, I'm going to do it.
I did but the left rear tire, firmly planted on the lot did not grab. ONly the right rear, showing my good flex via the suspension, spun in the snow.  It got me up there but I thought WTF........I'd like to have BOTH rears dig when I wanna go.

Still, the shot was impressive, my rig canted way over to the left, perched on top of snowpack...........mike hagen would have been proud.
