What is the actual purpose of the strut tower brace? Does it just stiffen the body or something.....I guess i'm just dumb
On the IFS cars, what happens over time, especially with jumping, is the strut towers start bending inwards. Also, if you pop your hood and bounce up and down on the car you'll notice the strut towers flexing in and out. YIKES! The brace will triangulate (fancy engineering words)

all this weak metal and stiffen up the front end of the chassis (nothing to do with the body) thus improving handling and durability.
