Here is the situation:
I sold an SJ410 to a fella in New Jersey that has a Canadian title.
He went to register and was told he needed all of the following:

Pencil tracing of the VIN
This is easy, but surprising this will suffice, when every other item is a “government/official� type document that is needed!

Manufacturers letter stating it meets federal specs
Any suggestions?

EPA customs form
What is it and where can he get it?

Notarized bill of sale (we have one but not notarized)
Again this is an easy one to accomplish….no big deal.

Where, and who do I need to contact. Here is an explanation: I brought the SJ410 into USA to restore for a customer. Customer then decided not to follow through with restoration and sold it to me. I did have to pay $5 to bring it across the border and did receive a “cash register tape� receipt. This is not what the NJ DMV is requesting.
Any idea as to how I can obtain this document?
