Too hot inside my Zuki

Happy new year to all.
I have a Suzuki Escudo 1991 model. Whenever I drive it for about a hour, it becomes uncomfortably hot inside. I begin feeling hot air coming down from the front (not from the vents but from below the dashboard) and becomes very hot inside. yet the engine is at normal temperature.
So where does this heat come from and what can I do to stop it??
Thank you

the heater core always has hot water
flowing thru it, you might have a stuck
open flap, or not fully closing flap on
the heater box.

Well if you were a hot chick that would be one thing but your not. Mine always blows a little air even when the blower isn't running. I just put the vent to recirculated air and it stops it.

Hello
Thanks for all the advice, but I can never put off clothes inorder to drive. Anyway, I tried closing and opening vents and any other adjustements you may think of but nothing seems to work.
Whatelse can I try?

I said stuck open, as in you need to get
under the dash and adjust it, I had allready
guessed you tried to close it with the lever.

I found a piece of silicone stuck in my heater valve, I just drained the system into a pan and pulled off the clip holding the cable on it and two screws and the two heater hoses and it was off the fire wall in no time and i just used some pliers to pull the junk out of it hooked it to the garden hose and made sure it was clean and it now works good! I guess somebody got carried away putting in a new thermostat . I also back flushed the heater core while I had the garden hose out. Dennis.
