Hey Zookimike, I live near Flint (Grand Blanc).  I've done too much park type wheeling (Silver Lake Sand Dunes, Mounds, Badlands...).  I'm looking at exploring more state land this year.

Unfortunately other than the Mounds (Mount Morris east of Flint) mid Michigan up is the only places you can leagaly wheel other than privet land.

If you go out keep me in mind.

Hey Guys,  I Live right on the border of Detroit and Dearborn if ya know where that is.  Don't know of any places to go wheelin around here, but will be checking out lower Mi. in early spring. Hope we have something there. If you guys are ever close give me a call, George, 313-441-1267.  I'm within an hour to an hour and a half from either of you.  Glad to see some Mi. people here. Thanks  George;

Hey George,  hate to tell you, but there is nothing else below the Mounds (east of Flint) in Michigan to leagaly wheel unless it's on privet land.  Or you don't get cought.

Then you have to go as far as Gladwin before you hit any more trails.

Still wouldn't mind getting together some time.

Awsume!!!!!

That's one of my biggest problem.  I don't know that much about the trails around Michigan.  It would be great to have someone show me around.

I was up there last summer for the Great Lakes "Sand-O-Rama" that was at the Ice carnival grounds.

Did some trail riding that day.  Don't know if I could ever find them again though?

Ionia here.

Sorry to drag up an old thread I've been in Cancun.

I think we should do a group ride this spring or summer,  silver lake,  mounds,  Gladwin,  whatever.  We can show everyone the Zuki faithfull.

If we could narrow down a date in the next month or so maybe we could do drummond island.

We reall should try and make this happen.

91 LSI  29X11.5 SSr's 3"body-2"suspension lifts.  Rear Locker.  Cal Mini header-no cat-2" exhaust.  Viper Yellow Duraliner.  Ice cold A/C!!! 50k actual miles
Stripes (I didn't do them) ARE GONE!!!!!!!

Clinton Township (Macomb County) here.  I'm from California so my off-roading jones is at an all time high...nothing even remotely tail worthy or legal in metro Detroit area.  ???
