Where in PA are you?  I'm about 30 miles southeast of State College.

I live in Butler county!  Small world.
The Zuke is on its way out.  Getting a vehicle that will behave and be supported by the dealer.

I used my Samurai as DD, but found a "commuter" sidekick. The kick burns a lot less gas, cruises at 70, and is easier on my back too.

Well, the Ol-X-90's transmission finally died (after I tried to do a repair on it :P) So it's back to the 200K having 89 Kick as a daily driver on the 1000 mile a week commute, and it's a champ. Everyone at work thinks I'm crazy for not getting a rental but they do know know the like of a Zukaholic. I almost hope the transmision gets delayed in shipping ;)

It's not bad. Gives me time to wake up in the morning and to unwind in the afternoon. I get to make my own hours, so I come in well before the rush hits (5:00 am) and leave before trafic fics up in the afternoon(3:00PM). Not to mention the pay in Nashville is double what I could get at home.

Thats the same for me.  I run 800 to 1000 miles a week.  I work a flex schedule so I make my hours also, and like you, I get alot more in Lexington than I could in Corbin!  And yes, my Tracker is my DD!

I work 8 miles from where I live. Somehow I still get 800 to 1000 miles a week on it anyway. We literally drive it everywhere.

I put about 350 miles a week on mine and it's a daily driver.  35 miles or so each way to work.  Mostly freeway though and since I only work 3 or 4 days every week that helps reduce the miles I put on it.  If I had to come in a full 5x8 week I'd be putting even more on it with the outside work driving I do.

Other than commuting I don't drive it much unless it's just me though since the kids and wife in a 2 door tracker makes it way too crowded anyway.  I should probably just take the back seats out since I never use em anyway but it's quieter with them in there to absorb noise.
