antifreeze engine block plug

I looked in the full service manual and the haynes, but there was no mention of an engine block plug for antifreeze.  I am going to flush mine out (hose, adapter in line, and bucket) and was wondering if there is one like on other vehicles.

Thanks ???

Other than the actual freeze plugs there isn't one that I've ever seen, just the drain cock on the radiator.  If you're doing a full flush you could just flush it till you see clear water then start it briefly to let the pump circulate it a little bit then flush again till it's clear.

Good deal.  Thanks.  Someone else chime in if they know that there is one.  I've looked all over.

I've always just used those Prestone Flush Kits that tap into the heater hose.  On another car I had that was just fulled with crap, I ended up taking the radiator to a shop and having it cleaned, and I put a water hose in the top radiator hose w/o the thermostat in it and turned it on.  I ran it until the water coming out of the bottom hose was clear.  Worked good for me.  You also have to unhook both heater hoses and run water thru one for the same effect in the heater core.

Good luck!
