THis is funny.

Now had there been zukes in there, it would have been a tragedy!
The Zuke is on its way out.  Getting a vehicle that will behave and be supported by the dealer.

That pix has been around a couple of years now.  Was on the Explorer Board last winter.  Still funny as hell though.  I wanna see the explanation to the insurance company.  "Well, ya see, even though we live in the frozen north, we decided to leave the water on in the garage without heating it, and geez, we just don't know why the pipes broke!

Yeah I dunno bout the old VW cabrio being a luxury car either.  New VW's are nice without being luxurious though.  I'm biased with our 2003 Passat though.  As it is the only option we have is Dealer tinted windows and about the only things I'd want on it are maybe a sun roof and alloy wheels but I planned on buying real ones instead of over priced dealer alloys anyway.

I don't much care for the older VW rabbits, but you'd be surprised how well they do in SCCA racing even to this day.  If you're looking for something in the camry/accord market segment give the Passat a look anyway though, now that the 2004's have the TDI diesel available, if you do long commutes that's definitely the way to go.  Those things run for friggin ever and are reasonably driveable for being diesels.
