If you left click on the pic icon, go to properties, copy the url (http://www.geocities.com/jp008/Dcp_0013.jpg), then open another window, paste into address line, hit return, you'll get the picture.

It's that straight axle conversion on the off-green trackick done at Sky's Extremem Offroad in Utah. Here is the link to the site for info: http://www.geocities.com/jp008/brettskick.html

I'm supprised that they went with leaf springs instead of coils.  Of course it would be cheeper with a donation vehicle like that.

Why were you surprised? you can get a leaf spring setup to flex quite well. I dont know mutch about making a coil one. are worth they money if you were gonna build one as apposed to the leaf spring?

Coils are supost to be the best set up between the two.  And starting with a coiled vehicle, it's like going from a solid axil to IFS.

Though I have a friend with a YJ that has a spring over and it flexes really nice with his new set of springs.

where did you find those? are there anymore, like a close up shot on how they fab the shackle mounts and stuff with the suspension. I am interested in how they did this.
