« on: December 09, 2003, 02:26:10 AM »
Just to let evryone know. Just called them to inquire about the front bull bar that they used on ther ultimate Vitara and they said that they will be selling it starting in Jan. it will fit like 99 to 04 models. Cost should be around 550 to 600. If they get enough request they said that they would look into making the rear bumber also.

Awesome, finally.

Now if he can produce the body lift too.  There is a big call for those.

not to pick on you, but the price seems fair to me.  An ARB bull bar, which isn't anywhere are nice or strudy, is the same price range.  Compare it to similar bumpers for Jeeps, and it's a deal.

Ever price a TrailReady bumper?

I built my own bumper for my GV, carefully following the Calmini unit for styling ques.  Let me tell you, I had about 100 man hours into it, along with $150 in metal, not to mention plasma torch and Mig welder expendables.  And mine is just painted.

problem is, it's a truck with low demand.  Even ARB isn't making a bull bar for it.  I think we should be lucky someone is, and at a fair price.

ARB won't do the latter models because they would need to write off a car to get the airbag compliance. It pretty annoying, I’m sure the people who go off road aren’t into options such airbags

When I talked to them, they said it was a production #'s issue.  Didn't mention anything about SRS.

Weird, as the GVs have the sensor mounted on the tranny tunnel under the dash, not in the bumper anymore.
