Mike and/or others,

Last time I talked to you (Zookie Melt) you said you had Toyota CV joints.  What are they out of and what did you have to do to mod. them?

I blew one out the other day and have been wondering sence.

Actually they are out of the left front of a 91 - 96 Nissan Maxima with a 5 speed and no antilock brakes. Then their was some cutting and welding involved. At the bottom of this page click on Artical Archive and scroll down to the technical section. On the right hand side their are some How To articals in the gray section. On of them is a write up on how to fit ford explorer axles in a kick. They are not as strong as the maxima but are easier to build and they fit without having the front end widened. There is also an artical on that.

Thanks, finily found it!!  My wife had to point it out that the link was right in front of my face!!  :P

I'm so us to having advertisements on a page, I didn't notice they were links.

So with you using the Nissan axils and widening the front  you didn't need the spacers you talked about?

Yea, you lose the spacer on the one side and weld the cup a little farther in on the passengers side. (as shown on the widen artical.
