I like their $2.00 shipping and handling for a $#|removethispart|@$ sticker that can be placed in a card and shipped for $0.37 >:(. I just shipped a front axle and 3d member housings 500 miles for $12. I ws going to get one before I saw that (and stick it on my friends Heep ;D)

WELL I DON'T KNOW  IF YOU HAVE EVER SOLD ON EBAY BUT HE'S NOT MAKING MUCH ...YOU HAVE TO PAY A LISTING FEE + A FINAL VALUE FEE + A PAYPAL FEE ..SO FOR A 3-4 $ SALE YOUR NOT MAKING MUCH...IF YOU ADD TO THE PRICE YOU PAY A HIGHER FEE, SO YOU HAVE TO RECOOP A LITTLE BIT IN THE SHIPPING & HANDLING ...I ORDERED 3 DECALS FROM HIM AND STILL ONLY $2 FOR S& H  HOPE THIS MAKES YA FEEL A LITTLE BIT BETTER.. ;) HAPPY ZUKING, MATTY D.

If you think you can find someone who can make you one for $2.50 and ship it to you for $0.37, BE MY GUEST.  I got news for you though, it ain't gonna happen.

This ain't rocket science here.  Use your brain and do a little math:

Padded envelope: $0.75
Shipping labels and ink: $0.10
Postage for 1.2 oz: $0.60
Paypal CC processing fee:  $0.45
Total: $1.90

Factor in the gas it takes to drive to the post office, and I'm actually LOOSING MONEY on the shipping.

Now, consider this
Ebay listing Fee:  $0.30
Buy it now fee:  $0.05
Final Value fee: $0.16
Total ebay fees:  $0.41

Figure in vinyl, application tape, plotter blades, a $1000 plotter that I PERSONALLY bought to cut this stuff, and I have over $1 in the decal.

Add it all up, and I've made a whopping $1.00 on the sale.  Yes, only $1.  Granted, some of them sell a bit higher than $2.50, but most don't.  And you think I'm charging too much?  I'm not doing these for the money by any means, it's simply to give something to the Zuk community.

Please think use your brain and think about these things before you post remarks like that.

Dschwab,
Yes it can be made for $2.50 and shipped to me for $0.37, why do you think I made the comment?

Instead of flying off the handle and making comments like "Use your brain and do a little math:" Try doing some research. Just because you decided to ship with a larger padded envelope that costs more to ship when you can by any envelope with card inserts to protect it for 0.25-0.35 and then still ship up to 5x7 for 0.37, hey that is your choice, just like it is my choice not to buy stuff from e-bay due to all of the mark up charges.

"Please think use your brain and think about these things before you post remarks like that.""

Yes I did think about what I posted, like I do on every other post I write. Just because something you are doing seemed nuts to one of the 1000's of people on this board and they (I) mention what seems out of order, you throw insulting / downgrading comments to me?

Dude chill out!!!! This whole board is about people's experiences, opinions and ideas.

I think  'shipping and handling' charges are way over priced in most any situation and are getting worse every day (like $2.00 on a $2.50 product, 80% mark up do to shipping and handling ??? That opinion you wont change, just like I can not change the fact that people and companies are charging $5-10 to ship a CD or a book

That is my THOUGHT OUT, USING BY BRAIN, AND DOING SOME MATH opinion, just like it was in my original post!

There is no way.  Envelopes and labels aren't free, regardless of what kind you use, and if I just put it in a regular envelope, it gets shredded by the sorting machine at the post office.  I've tried that before.

I'm also aware that I can get an envelope with cardboard inserts, but it costs nearly as much as the padded one, and still weighs over an ounce, so it still costs $0.60 postage.

And the $0.40-0.75 paypal fee has to be covered somehow as well.  You have to remember that the cost of a stamp is not the only cost involved with mailing something.

I'm not downgrading you, nor did I fly off the handle, and I appologize if you felt that way.  I'm simply stating the facts.

$5 to ship a book or CD is not over priced if you consider what when into shipping it.  The company has to pay for the box, the label, the computer and printer to print the label, the person to print it and stick it on, and then is still costs $2-$3 to ship it on top of all that.

If you really want me to send you one for $0.37, I can stick a stamp on the back of it and put it in the mail, but it won't make it there in one peice.
