I don't know what the sales are for Suzuki Canada Inc, but I do know that I see a hell of a lot of XL-7s rolling around the streets here followed by regular 4 door Vitaras and then Aerios and Grand Vitaras take up the rest.

If we told you, we'd have to kill you. :P

It's actually a dream I had.  Simple full-frame 2-dr ragtop 4x4, using the GV V6 motor and tranny.  Solid axles.  Simple to build 4x4 using mostly existing Suzuki drivetrain, something that would reduce production costs for ASMC.  Basically, it would be a Samurai replacement meant to go head to head with the Jeep Wrangler, only at a better price.  This was the secret to the the most poplular and highest selling Suzuki ever.

I chose Katana to name my dream for a few reasons.  One, the Katana is the sword of the Samurai.  Two, Katana is a name of Suzuki motorcycle, as was the Samurai (little known fact).  And three, it rhymed with Vitara, and now rhymes with Verona and Forenza.

So, Katana 4x4 is a buzz word to sum up the Zook we all hope they build.
