ok taxes are in, and pokets are burning (LOL) i was just going to go with the 2 inch Calmini lift and bigger tires. But in your readers rides section you have a nice group of kick/tracks with combo lifts (body/suspension) with really mean tire and wheel set-ups.
now i like that but i have some issues now about doing something that extreme.
first, i'd like to keep my stock bumpers on front and back, i've never been a fan of tubular or winch style bumpers. but with a body lift i can't keep them can i?
it doesn't look like it because everyone with an extreme lift has aftermarket bumpers.
also when you do a body lift doesn't that lower your transfer case shifter and transmission shifter too? How do i remedy that, or does Calmini include the hardware to do that as well.
it's a really nice rig for being a 1995, my neighbors really took good care of it. and less than 40,000 miles on the odo. I love this thing.

i painted the center console and side vents gun metal like the Ford Escapes, i think it really makes the dash look a bit upscale. and added 6 1/2inch 3 way speakers in the side panels, the stereo is not thumping but sounds great.
so as you can see i want to keep the car looking good so i want to keep it as much like it is right now as i can while lifting it.
shoud i just go with the 3 inch lift and keep my bumpers or 6 inch combo?
and how do i keep the stock bumpers on if i go 6 inch?
