Hi guys! Newbie with a questions
« on: October 19, 2003, 02:48:09 PM »
Hi guys, I'm Norm, new here, have a 93 sunrunner.  Some might know me from fbody.com or jeepkings.ca where I'm also a member.   I'm upgrading my rig,  just got the wheels, will do the lift this week.  3 inch body and 31s.  Anyway, since I have your undevided attention, Anybody ever switch transfercases in theese things?  Its 4 low is a 1.8 to 1     I was hoping to get a little better, anywhere from 2.5 to 3 or so.  Is there one that bolts in?

Norm,
There are 4:1 kits available for the Sunrunner (that is the same as a Sidekick/Vitara isn't it) Check out Calmini at puresuzuki.com for details on their 4:1 kit.

Rocky Road also sells 4:1 kits and 4:1 complete xfer cases.  See http://www.rocky-road.com/kickdrive.html.  I have their 4.16 gears in my Sammy tcase and have been very pleased.
