Body Lift GV/ XL-7
« on: August 18, 2003, 02:37:20 PM »
It seems that no one makes a kit to bd lift an XL-7 or GV  as of right now.  What I'm  thinking is to  get a 4 door sidekick bd lift say 97 ??  I think the body mounts are the same. One  drifence that I know of is the strut town brace that would need to have some sheet meatl cut to fit.  There is also the steering linkage but I do not know if Calimi's kit for the 4 door kicks came with somethings for this or not.   I' ve read some stuff om the web that  pics with a round gold looking thing  that looked like  it would fit in to the steering but went I look at Camini web site pics of the lift I don't see it.  Any thoughts??

You could check out   http://groups.yahoo.com/group/suzukigrandvitara, apparently there are quite a few difficulties involved with a bodylift.

Blacknight is part of that group.

Anything is possible, Geo.  The question is how much work do you want to put into it?  Contact CALMINI as ask if you get the 4-dr body lift, and I help you fab some of the extras, if you can get it to work.

If not, place an order for the GV/XL7 body lift and press the issue?  Seems like a lot of folks recently want to body lift the new Zooks.
