i know kits are made for sammies to get a 1.8 turbo diesel.what would it take to get one in a sidekick 94 2-door with automatic?seems like it would be easy enough but have never seen the kit for sammies or played with diesels.i just hear there is a ton of low end power wich i think would work well with my automatic.also diesels are said to run forever.please give me your thoughts on this swapand if you have seen it done.

Its not a problem if you can make the tranny do what it is supposed to do. You would have to make a black box of sorts to make the overdrive work.

Just waiting on an adapter plate to do a VW diesel to a kick 5spd.

Once I get it I will be sure to keep everyone updated.

no overdrive on my 94 just a 3-speed please keep me posted on your swap.,
