Run in Eastern PA
« on: October 20, 2003, 12:03:18 AM »
Anyone interested in getting a run together in Eastern PA??  There is a relatively new facility Northeast of Harrisburg called Rausch Creek http://www.rauschcreekoffroadpark.org/  that looks pretty interesting.

Well you have my attention I just saw the Rausch Creek info sounds ...good to me you only have to have three people as a group to enter the facility. I wouldn't mind checking it out some time after the first in  January.  8)

I wheel with a bunch of people from www.explorerforum.com (used to wheel my Explorer before I bought the Zuk) and we have been meaning to try Raushc Creek out for a while now.   We were supposed to go this weekend that just passed, but everyone was tied up. We're probably gonna try for a run in November, so I  should have more info on the place soon.

I've been wanting to try RC also, but haven't been able to get enough folks together to go.  Let us know when you want to go ... I'd like to try it! Thanks ;D

That date doesn't look too bad to me, but we'll need a couple more vehicles.

We might have a jeeper to tag along, he's waiting on some long overdue rock rails before he commits.  How many trucks do we need to be able to go it alone?

Need at least 3 from what I understand.  I'd prefer around 5-7 trucks.

No luck with them either.  Most of the ones that wheel are either tied up or are going to a mud puddle in North Jersey called Mahwah.  I've seen that area, and it's just muddy dirt roads, so I'm not gonna drag my truck 6 hours to that.  :(.  I'm thinking December now.......

Roger that.... I'm not a real big mud fan either.  Keep in touch will see how December shapes up. ;)

I'm trying to set up a run with our Explorer group at Rausch Creek on December 6th.  See http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=92317.  I think you should be able to see that thread.....I'd like to get a bunch of people together for it.  I'm the only Zuk with that group right now, but we always have room for more  ;D
