Yeah one of the samurai guys told me I could probably run the bottom half of Rocky Mount Loop (the hardest trail) without any trouble. Well, the first day we were there we tried it and came across a trench that was about 4.5 feet full of mud. We stopped and turned around, sat a while and watched some of the guys with 44"s run through it. We then snuck back back down the way we came in.

Well, on Saturday, we decided to see how bad it was after a day of folks running through. We git there and it was only about 2 foot left with a steep climb out the other side. My son said let's try it, all that can happen is we get stuck, right? So I said that's right and dropped it in L-Low 4. I mean to tell ya, I don't believe I ever stopped being impressed with this truck all weekend. What ever we seemed to want to try, it just kept chuggin along. Rocks, that slick Carolina clay, deep gravel, it just kept going. In the one pic you can see a jeep behind us. He had a Rubicon lift on that thing and he wanted to follow me, we kept stopping to let him pass and he would sit and wait for us to take the lead.
I tell ya, all in all it was a great weekend. I will be going back in April to the Zuwharrie event for sure. We only ran 3 trails this time but I will be trying some more once the new shoes are on. I am also thinking of letting a local shop fab up a winch bumper for as well. Maybe some sliders as I did nick some rocks with plastic trim . . .
