The Future - HeadKick

Forget about IFS, think FIS.  That's right, FULLY Independent Suspension.

Ford 9-Inch Diffs front and rear, in an Anvil configuration, Dual a-arms front and rear, with coils, obviously locked, both ends (I'm liking the e-lockers that Nate & Heather have).  Slightly longer wheelbase than a kick.  Serious CV axles all the way around, and IDENTICAL axles.  Dual 2:1 or maybe a 2:1 and a 3:1 transfer case...  And the rest stock Sidekick.  Well, maybe Corbeau Seats, and a nuclear stereo...  Put that bad boy on 37's, maybe...

Dang, I gotta learn to WELD!

Oh, and of course, no stock ECM for me - a Megasquirt II will run my engine.

Ya, sure, you betcha.

Running out of Chicken Corners, up to Harrah Pass (and I mean RUNNING - I know I was doing over 50), we came up to the pass - it's up a rock ledge, and a left turn into the pass.

Well, I got to the left turn, and the pass was FILLED by a Hummer (H1).  We just climbed around it on the rocks.  Who needs a road, anyway?

Did ya leave any tire tracks on the hummer?

Here is a thoughtMaybe you could incoporate Airbag struts so when one tire is forced up and compresses the strut and th air is transfered to the opposite side and forces the other side down.  If not air maybe some kind of gas.

You could also make a valve that would stop the tranfer of air/gas if you  didnt want that to happen at certain times.

That would definatly make cornering
on the street interesting  :o

And I thought I was the only one that was
thinking about a rear independent suspension

Independant suspension makes me cry, but that sounds like a cool as hell idea. I'd love to see that rig become a reality. :D
