Allow me to introduce myself my name is Sassy Daniel, I'm the excellent half of my husband Wally. I am the eye's and ear's for him and I do my best to keep him up to date with all the in's & out's of things going on around us except for telling him I've been in touch with a gentleman who's nick name I'll use for security - identity purposes here. He goes by the name of Wildgoody. This is the nicest gentelman anyone could have ever written me an email. This is a message I received from the guy who bought the Suzuki, {quote}hey! we're home!!! we got back at 2:15. we had to stop and unhook the drive shaft because it pumped the transmission empty. we put fluid in it and it appears to be ok. we brought a piece of Florida back (the sand under the truck was pretty thick, ha! ha!) we'll keep in touch and holler at you the next time we're in Florida.Craig WoodsAnd here's my reply back:Mr. Woods: My husband wanted to send you these direct links in case you accidentally misplace that note paper with them on it. http://www.reynoldsmachine.com/engines.htmhttp://www.puresuzuki.com/sidekick_tracker.htmhttp://www.hawksuzukiparts.com/http://www.spidertrax.com/http://www.zukiworld.comhttp://www.rocklogic4x4.com/store/index.php?action=category&id=3http://www.zukiworld.com/month_070103/feature_hagen_ford9inch.htmhttp://www.zukiworld.com/month_040103/feature_hagencvshaft.htmhttp://www.zukiworld.com/month_020103/feature_frontendupgradeswithhagen.htmhttp://www.zukiworld.com/month_100102/feature_hagans_rearrotate.htmhttp://www.zukiworld.com/month_080102/feature_hagen_gastanklift.htm The neighbors freaked out this morning when they saw the truck was gone and come over here to wake us up at 4:30 in the morning thinking it was stolen. Boy was that a good laugh..... Then this morning I got this one from the guy: {quote}well i thought the transmission was ok but it ant , it has first and reverse. do you know where i can get a transmission or do you think i just need to get it overhauled? And Wally's reply by dictation:It shouldn't need to be replaced but then again I have never hauled a vehicle with just two wheels on the ground. Makes me wish we loaded it on to your dolly in reverse and disconnect the drive shaft as well for added measure. Well here's a search I did for New & Used Transmissions, by the way it will accept all years from 1989 to 1991...real sorry to hear only first and reverse. http://wizardtransmission.com/suzuki-transmissions.htmlhttp://www.automaticgears.com/cgi-bin/gears.cgi/transmission-review.html?p_prodid=10323&p_catid=730&l_make2=&sid=31J3FY1FGCOw4Wg-23105484971.39 Maybe less expensive to have it overhaulled or to get a used one at a salvage yard.ZukiWorld Members[/size]Can anybody help this guy out with more accurate information??? He lives in Tennessee on the Tenn/Kentucky line. His personal email is genwoodsconst|removethispart|@nctc.comWally said he wishes he had insisted for the guy to take our trailer so that the wheels would have been all of the ground, at first he was going to sell it for a thousand but now in light said he should had given it to him free. Now the guy is going to be out a grand fixing it.
