Thanks guys. I was really excited how it looked when we got done, then I went and wheeled the thing. I felt like I was wheeling a Lexus.  It was kinda strange at first.  A/C in 97 deg August is sweet though. I was VERY impressed with how it performed. Especially with no front locker. I went 98% of the places a TJ on 35's with a front locker went. Some of the onlookers were flat dumbfounded.

One guy with a big ass ford truck on 39 swampers bounced around trying to get up a pretty nasty obstacle and broke. We made it look pretty easy, and his wife kept saying over and over and over (with an East Texas Twaaang) "It's a Traaaaaacker!" "He made it easy in a Traaaacker!" Her husband was not amused.  We were trying hard not to laugh.   ;D ;D

So much for IFS sucks in my book now. It may not be ideal, but it sure doesnt suck!  I've also been driving it everyday to/from the shop since I got back.  I'm really digging this thing!

I have a lot more observations, questions and pics I'll disperse in some new posts.

PS  dont forget to re attach whatever that is hanging underneath it (see head on pic)

;D So a Traaaaacker has converted another one  ;D The cool part is it only gets better from here  8) With your resources and fabricating skills I cant wait to see what you come up with when you realy start to build the crap out of one  :o 8) (and when you do you will realize that a HUGE benefit to the IFS is having a very capable trail rig that you can still drive across the counrty on the interstate at 70-75 while sipping on some java)

Great to hear it performed well and you had a good time on your first outing.

Zig

PS- Good looking sliders  8)

great looking Bumper.  I'd love to see some longer 4-door sliders, but I know the customer base for that is smaller.

but more in need :) ... 4dr's have a crappy breakover that those sliders would at least provide protection  ;D
