yes this subject again, i did a search but didnt find my answer

What coil would compare to using a calmini 3" coil??

my lug nuts require more torque then my engine makes ;)

None that I know of. The diameter is kinda odd, from what I have gathered. No other "bolt in" solution.

I'm going custom mounts and using coil over springs eventually. In the front also, just for shitrs n grins.  8)

what about heating the coil near the top so it fits right into the spring cup?

Heating the coil destroys the temper of the steel and hurts the elasticity and any changes made under the heat will only be temporary. Search back to the topic I had started about coil swaps and there is info in there about different application coils that are close. I beleive Ranger/explorer/Bronco 2 front coils are pretty close, but need pressed closed a little at one end to fit the cup...
