You know this has me thinking. I wounder if  you could bult-up this trans to the XL-7 for its lower gearing?  hummmmmmm
Also what are the spec's on the t-case 4 hi/awd 1to1 I would guess and  4 low ???

I'd guess so since it sounds like they just put the XL7 2.7L in instead of the 2.5L.

Looks like it has AWD, hi, low, and neutral for those with a real transfer case and just AWD for those wanting a "cute ute".  So two seperate cases...

Yes and no, it's really the same "case" but there are less pieces in one vs. the other. The 'four-mode' unit has the 4 low loc / 4 hi / 4 hi loc the AWD version has hi 4 with torque split.

You know, the low range ratio didn't come up. I'll have to investigate! :)
