My friend had those made. He's got a HUGE one that is going the whole way across his back bumper...

Dihnekis: the previous owner did the 4" body lift by cutting 4" chunks of thick walled 4" square stock and welding it into place between the frame and body. Not the way I would have done it myself, but cheap and effective. The 4" tank lift I did myself after I bought it when trying to put the fuel system back together. I set the tank on top of the round cross members that it normally hangs from and held it in place with heavy duty 2" muffler clamps...

With that 4" body lift did you/previous owner have to extend all the shifters?

I don't know if he extended the transmission shifter, but he did cut the floor and move the console back a couple inches so the boot would line up better. He extended the T-case shifter by shoving a screwdriver into the hole in the end of the shifter and tack welding it there... I WILL be changing that eventually! LOL! Since I lifted the tank, I didn't have to worry about extending the filler tube or any gas lines and the previous owner said that he didn't need to extend the steering shaft at all...

Nope, these are just local trails around in the hills near my house. I also have a private 4wd club near me that I run at/with often. 400 acres all to ourselves!

Could you take some pictures of the gas tank lift? I'm thinking for doing one on my rig.(3.5"BL)

If you do a search, there are threads and tech articles with plenty of info about the tank lift. Basically I took the tank, changed my tank skid to a 89-90 one with all 4 mounting bolts matching the tank instead of the funky one bolt to the frame like the newer ones. I cut the forward tank mounting tabs off of the round crossmember and set the tank and skid on top of the round crossmembers both in front of the tank and behind it. Then I used heavy duty 2" muffler clamps around the crossmembers and through the tank/skid mounting holes to hold them in place... I'll snap a couple pics...
