my fu$%^&ing cooling system

i everone, yesterday my coolent gauge started acting weird the needle was dropping when i pushed the gas when i let up it came back up to temp could this be the temp sending unit or is somthing realy wrong   why would the gas pedle have any thing to do with the temp gauge                 please help               aumtracker                       by the way its a 92 tracker 4x4

my guess ...

the throttle cable is strecthing the harness in a way that a ground wire is now becoming open. Worthwhile to check it, cause if the engine doesn't have good ground, it won't run well (or at all!).

yeah check the wiring
even if the unit is f'd it will not do that
92 2dr soft top
2-1/4" cherry bomb exhaust

Check the wiring to the sender too,
it's below the thermostat, and kind
of where it gets hit more.
