yeah, i worked that out last night.  a little too far to drive with short notice.  I would have left this afternoon if i were gunna go, but not gunna get out until 6pm, so i'm not gunna be making that one.  Plus, i wouldn't wanna have to drive in the stock rigs trails since i don't have my lockers or a winch yet.

So who only wants to drive an hour and go to evan's with me?  I'm up for other trails also not too far away if someone wants to show me the way...  anyone...?

I went to Reiter on saturday with some buddies from work.  Had a good time, didn't wheel for long though.  I took a "bypass" around some large stumps and trees and just about rolled it.  The ground was incredibly soft on the front left, and the wheel sunk down, rear end slid left, and i was balancing on the left 2 wheels for a few seconds.  The problem then was my brakes decided to not give me pedal pressure.  i've got to start a post now and figure out what my brakes are doing.

I didn't get any pics cause we didn't stop much in the hard stuff, just kept on going.  I could have had more fun if it weren't so tippy, and my brakes didn't fail.  They'll work on the road just fine... wierd.

Sounds like ya had a good trip tho  ;D

I'd suspect water ... when braking hard, it can go to steam and give a soft pedal, but "normal" driving doesn't get it that hot ... just my guess. My rig has ALWAYS had a soft pedal and sloppy steering .. I must be getting used to it  :P

Ok, instead of me having started posts for Evan's 3 different times, i've gone ahead and changed this last non-eventful try.

This sunday I WILL BE GOING TO EVAN'S CREEK.  I haven't fulfilled the need for wheeling yet before it gets much colder or starts snowing, even if my brakes do fail every now and then (that'll be fixed saturday).

So for all of those that are looking for more action after going to Powerfest last weekend, let me know.

9:30am in the parking lot.  Be there, or be at home asleep.
