hi guys   hope you all can help me out   i went  to snug up my wheel bearing on a 92 track kick and found that i need a special tool to do so only i dont know what it is anybody know what tool this is and if so what size is it   my hanes said tighten it to 57 lbf so whatever it is it must work with a tourq wrench        thanx guys   aumtracker

yeah, i got that far last fall, put it back together and had a shop do it.   I hear if you get a parts tracker, save the steering knuckle, and just change the whole thing.   I guess I'm not much help after all.

I'm not sure what the tool would be on a kick, but on my big Ford F250 4x4 all I needed was the 'special' socket that attatched to the wrench,  all it really was was a large diameter pipe with 4 square studs welded inside it.  The nut that holds the bearings in place is circular with 4 notches in the rim.  I've never had to take the bearings out in my sammy so I don't know how different it is.  For my ford, the socket cost me about $12.

All you need is a 3 lbs hammer and a long punch  ;)

Couldn't find the Suzuki socket, got the Ford socket and "modified" it.  Pretty much hacked 2 of the teeth off and whacked it with a sledgehammer untill the remaining 2 teeth hit fit in the holes.   Makes it rough to use with hand tools, it just slips off, had to use the impact wrench.
